We are proud and delighted to announce that the Czech company TELINK, the official distributor of DJI technologies in the Czech Republic, has become a new partner of Justice for Nature.
As part of this partnership, Justice for Nature has received a state-of-the-art DJI Matrice 4T thermal drone. The drone will be deployed directly in the field to help protect some of Central America's most valuable natural areas.
Technology in the service of the wild
The new drone will become an important tool for our operational team and Costa Rican park rangers. Equipped with a thermal camera, advanced sensors, artificial intelligence, and automated object recognition, it significantly expands our ability to monitor protected areas.
The technology will be used primarily for:
- detecting poaching activities,
- early detection of wildfires,
- monitoring illegal activities,
- protecting endangered species,
- mapping and monitoring large protected areas.
Deployed directly in the field
The drone will be deployed mainly within Área de Conservación Guanacaste and Palo Verde National Park, where we have been working alongside local rangers and conservation authorities on long-term wildlife monitoring and nature protection.
The use of unmanned aerial technology represents a major step forward in conservation efficiency. It enables faster responses to critical situations, saves valuable time and financial resources, and most importantly, helps protect human lives by reducing the need for rangers to enter dangerous areas.
Combining modern technology with the daily work of people on the front line of conservation is the direction we want to pursue over the long term.
