Sometimes all it takes is a big dream and determination – even children can change the world.
As part of our Eye of the Ocean program, which protects the breeding grounds of humpback whales in Santa Elena Bay, Costa Rica, two amazing girls from Poruba (Ostrava) joined our call to Become a Whale Ambassador.

At a talk in Ostrava, they were so inspired by the story of the whales that they came up with their own way to help. 🍪 Together with their dad, they built a small stand, baked whale-shaped cookies – and kept going until they raised the full 5,000 CZK for a whale adoption.
👉 Thanks to them, we now have new Whale Ambassadors 2026, who proved that age is no barrier when it comes to protecting nature.
